new website

Welcome to the new website and new blog. See if we can get back into the swing of it again.  Once again the website has undergone some changes and moved around to another provider. We now hope eventually it will be better than ever, however still under construction, as I learn new techniques. 

It has been very wet here in Belper this last week, but unusually warm for the time of year so all the poor horses are very confused as to whether they should be growing winter coats or not and Izzy is  having a battle with her wardrobe to decide what to wear, wet /dry and back to wet.  

The youngsters are getting a lot of attention these days with lots of regular foot handling and leading training including the naughty foal who has taken it upon himself to train Izzy rather than the other way round!

We had a rather Peaches in the stables today to get dry and have a nice big bucket feed which she seemed rather grateful with Izzy for.   She was groomed groom and a thorough check over.  Music came in too, although he doesn’t need a bucket,  he had a bit of TLC from.  We also have a rather sore horse at the moment and as Izzy and I know exactly how he feels he is coming in on a regular basis for a feed and some Reiki. 

Well that’s it for now I need to get dry so have fun and keep checking the blog for more news from the farm!
